Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Ordering & Payment

What payment methods are accepted?

I accept all common payment methods via Shopify Payments, including credit card, PayPal, and other local payment options.

Can I still change my order?

Contact me as soon as possible after placing your order. If production has not yet begun, I can make changes.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

As each whip is handmade, production time depends on my current order situation. You can find the current waiting time in the announcement banner on the website. Production is carried out according to the order list – first come, first served. As soon as your whip is up for production, I will notify you. I ask for your understanding that inquiries do not speed up the process – each whip gets the time and attention it needs for the highest quality.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I ship to selected countries worldwide, including all EU countries, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Japan, and others. Available shipping countries and costs will be displayed automatically at checkout.

Can I track my order?

Yes, once your whip has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Custom Orders & Customizations

Can I have a whip custom-made to my specifications?

Absolutely! Through the shop, you can configure many options such as length, colors, and more. For special requests beyond the standard options, feel free to contact me directly.

How does a custom order work?

You configure your desired whip directly in the shop according to your preferences (length, colors, etc.), add it to your cart, and order as usual. Current waiting times are displayed in the announcement bar on the website. Only for very unusual requests – such as ideas for your own whip series or customizations not available in the shop – please contact me via the contact form for an individual consultation.

How long does a custom order take?

That depends on the extent of the customizations and my current order situation. Usually between 2-6 weeks. I will give you an exact time frame with the order confirmation.

Product Care

How do I care for my nylon whip?

Nylon whips are very easy to care for. Store dry after use. If dirty, simply wipe with a damp cloth.

How do I care for my leather whip?

A leather whip should be cleaned after use, but it should not get too much moisture. Of course, the whip can get wet, for example when using it outdoors in meadows. It is best to clean it with a cloth, let it dry, and then grease it. Grease your whip at regular intervals with a suitable leather care product to keep the material supple and extend its lifespan. I recommend Bick 4 leather conditioner.

How do I store my whip correctly?

Preferably hanging or loosely rolled up in a dry place. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Product Selection

Which whip is suitable for beginners?

Bullwhips are ideal for beginners – they are versatile and forgive small technical errors. Hybrid Whips are also well-suited as they are lightweight and require less force.

What is the difference between a Bullwhip and a Snake Whip?

The main difference: Bullwhips have a rigid handle, Snake Whips do not. Snake Whips are therefore more flexible, more compact, and particularly good for flicks. Bullwhips are more versatile.

What length should my first whip be?

For beginners, I recommend a length between 6-8 feet (approx. 1.8-2.4 m). This offers a good balance between control and learning opportunities.

Returns & Warranty

Can I return my whip?

Since each whip is handmade and often individually configured, special return conditions apply. Please contact me directly with any problems so we can find a solution.

Is there a warranty?

I guarantee the craftsmanship of my work. Of course, craftsmanship is not infallible, and something can always go wrong. In case of material defects or manufacturing flaws, please contact me immediately. A visible droppoint of a strand does not constitute a defect and is simply part of the process. Sometimes they are more visible, sometimes less. However, I do not assume any warranty for damage to the whip caused by improper use, such as damage to the transition of a bullwhip due to use opposite to the direction of travel, kinking, etc. Please read the instructions for use. You can find them on the homepage.
